Sparkle Tastic!
Folksy Friday Features!

Firstly, I would like to to show you some of the gorgeous stones that have come out of our stone tumbler, found on the beach in Cyprus and tumbled to a gorgeous finish, over various cycles.

This gorgeous stone was muddy brown, but after all the polishing cycles has brought out stunning chocolate browns and caramels, with druzy caves of twinkling crystals, and would you believe it, its Jasper!

And this beautiful highly polished quartz was a chalky white and very dull stone, but look how it shines now, isn't nature amazing!

Mind you, both these stone threw our stone polisher into a fit, its only used to our smaller pebble finds, and decided to spill the contents of the barrel all over the workstation, and silted up the motor; we had to purchase a new one, so have turned out to be very expensive finds in the end.  LOL!

Onwards to FF Features!

Manic Friday!

Friday's are usually a wind down day for me, but not this Friday, with free listing on Folksy, getting the car loaded for a whole weekend craft fair, (taking all my stock), setting up at the craft fair and finishing a crocheted Trilby commission for a friend, its been all go!  Litterally!

But all done now!  Phew! So can happily relax for the evening, with a glass of wine, only the one, as have to be up early, but hey ho, enjoyable all the same!

So to finish off my day, would like to feature some of my Folksy friends with quirky and fun items.

Quirky Feature Gallery!

Super fun cards from the fantastic Squidsin!

Beautiful Recycled Champaigne Cheese board from the fantabulous blue daisy glass

Meditating Mummy by the wonderful MudMeddling

Something for the Tolkien fans from Gelert Design

A wonderful pooch creation from the pooch-tastic Dach Crafts

And finally one mad creation from myself, not sure if it is candy cane or light house like, up to you to decide.

Hope you have enjoyed my mad Folksy Friday this week and will visit the shops in question for a bit of fun and uplift on a manic day!

Thank you!

November Nexus Finale

November Nexus Finale!

We have come to the end of another month of the daily listing club, the November Nexus, we happy band of crafters, have prepped, sewn, painted, pinned, polished, knitted and so much more in the name of crafting and handmade goodness.

I am so pleased with the way everyone rallied round during a difficult month of change and flux, with a poor economic climate, we still mamaged a collective sales tally of 1091 at the latest update, there may yet be a few more sales to add to that tally, if Nexonians have not been on to the thread to update their totals, so fingers crossed we reach the magic 1100 figure.

Nexonian Feature Gallery!

I have decided to show case a mega feature gallery, something from few shops that posted on the final day's thread, please click on the pictures to be taken to the shop in question.

I hope you have liked my choices for the finale feature gallery, sorry I was not able to include something from every shop taking part.

Thank you!

Folksy Friday, Fly Away Birdies!

Fly Away Birdies!

As Autumn well and truely takes grip and winter is not far away, I was watching some of the birds gathering and thinking of them flying away to warmer climes and wishing I could do the same too, LOL!

And as the October daily listing club finishes, being the October Owls, and the November club commencing, being November Nexus, (a bonded group) I felt a Folksy Friday to say goodbye to some of our feathered friends might be appropriate.

The October Owls had a very good collective month, reaching just under 700 collective sales, which I think is fantastic during this current financial climate, and November Nexus is gaining its own flock of sales, averaging 20 collective sales a day so far!!!!

My Folksy Friday Flock!

Please come and take up your binoculars and become a twitcher for some of my birdie finds this Friday.

Flying, fluttering or just perching ready to burst into song, I have a mini flock of six birds, or all varieties to showcase today.

Just peck, sorry click, on the picture to be flown to the shop in question, for full details and more lovely photographs of the pretty birdies.

I hope you have enjoyed my Friday flight of fancy and take time to visit the shops and maybe leave me a comment or two.

Thank you.
