Jollies to Folks!

January Jollies
became the
February Folks!

So sorry to be tardy with the update on how the daily listing club is continuing!  Life tends to get in the way, does it not?!?

As I am now officially redundant from the day job, I have been focusing on trying to find other regular paid employment, I would much rather craft full time, but bills as they are, we need another secure income to tied us over, at least until the mortgage is paid, so a few more years yet then!

However, at 46 and redundant, not sure I am such a catch, employment wise, as I was a few years ago, so have not found a position as yet and life goes on, but, on the plus side, I have completed a commissioned order for a crocheted jacket and have two commissions for knitted jumpers, one almost completed and one yet to be started, so looking up on the orders side of crafting!

So .... looking back to update you, the January Jollies Daily listing club was amazingly successful!
I always consider the  first few months following Christmas as being quiet months, but for some crafter's it was highly productive, not to mention profitable month!

As a daily listing club, our collective tally for January was a stunning 387 sales!  A wonderful tally!

Our sales leader for the month was the super talented Helen from HelleBellesCards who's wonderful handmade cards fit every occasion, so please check out her fantastic shop!

February Folks!

February, our shortest month of the year!
I put out the challenge, on the Folksy Forums, to see if anyone was interested in taking part in the challenge of daily listing during February; lots of familiar and new faces were keen to give it a crack and so far we have already surpassed 200 collective sales, which I personally think is AMAZING!

The peeps interested also voted on the unique name for the months club, with the overwhelming vote going to the February Folks!
The Feb Folks are extremely talented and offer a wide variety of crafts and handmade items to suit and encompass so many genre's, style's and product's, so everyone should be catered for!

Folksy Friday! Winter!

Winter Wonders!

My Folksy Friday is all about winter, with the Arctic conditions we are all experiencing today, the inspiration suddenly came to me!  LOL!

Don't blame me for jumping on the band waggon, I could not help myself.  It's been snowing on and off since 12.00pm yesterday and is a good, school closing thickness today!

Although, I do feel for the poor students with exams set for today!  According to the school website, they are intending to go ahead with the exams, but as we have students that have to come in from very rural locations, I am sure it will be impossible for some, I do worry that they will try to attend, when the conditions would suggest that they should not attempt it!!!!

Luckily for me, my eldest has finished school, the middle one has completed his exams until the summer and the youngest has them yet to come.

Folksy Friday! January Jollies!

Folksy Friday - Hello January!

After all the Christmas and New Year Festivities, January often seems such a long and depressing month, where we suffer from the January Blues, however, the January Daily listing club are attempting to buck the trend and set us off with a more optimistic view, by opting for the name January Jollies and lets hope it is Jolly month for all!

Before I can fully say goodbye to December, I need to let you know what a fantastic sales month it was for the December Jingles who worked so hard and were awarded with a collective sales tally of 754 sales in total.

And we had two joint top shops, who each achieved a magnificent 48 total sales for the month!  Astounding!

The two wonderful shops were the lovely Edwina of HandmadebyEdwina and the beautiful Leanne of SeetheWoods

Personally, January is my birthday month, so the celebrations extend into January for me, however, it is also the month when I am to be made redundant from my job of 12 and half years, so I shall be joining the throng of job seekers, wish me luck!

Jolly Jig Gallery of Jewels!

I thought we could start off the month with some pretty sparklers and gemstones, I hope you enjoy my choices, and will visit each treasure, in its jewel box of a shop, by simply clicking on the pictures below.

I hope you too have a Jolly January and that there is some treasure for us all on this very long month!

My first Folksy Friday of 2013 I thought I would dedicate it to a favourite animal of mine and share some wonderful turtle creations with you all!

December Jingles!

Jingle All the Way!

So sorry to have taken so long to say goodbye to the November Rockets and hello to the December Jingles, our new daily listing club for the month of December, but it has been a mega rush both in a business sense and personally, with pre Christmas Craft Fairs and markets and concluding the day job, as I am being made redundant from the end of December, so there has been some finalisations to see to and a mega list of notification emails to send out, but following this I shall have more time for myself, until I find another job that is, a daunting prospect, especially given the current economic climate.

Hey Ho, or should I say Ho Ho Ho as we move forward to Christmas!  But we need to say a fond farewell to November, which was a very successful daily listing club, with a grand total of 816 collective sales for the month and our Star Rocket was Susan of thedotterypotter with an amazing personal total of 77 sales all of her own.

The December Jingles have been merrily jingling all the way and have commenced the month with a sleigh ride of sales already, we are only on the 11th of December and already have a jingle-tastic 387 collective sales as of 9.30 this morning!!!!!

Dashing Jingle Gallery!

I thought it might be lovely to have a sleigh ride together through some of the shops taking part in the December Jingles and showcase some of their gorgeous creations already displayed for our appreciation.

If you would like a closer look, please just click on the picture and dash all the way to the shop in question, where you will see further delights!
